  • Your employer or company is willing to contribute just 5% of your total training costs (£550+vat).

Who is NOT ELIGIBLE for funding?

  • You are self-employed and not employed - you would need to pay the full cost of the programme.

How much time will I need to commit each week?

You will need to allocate on average 6 hours per week. However, the more time you dedicate, the quicker your client base will grow, allowing you to complete the course faster and achieve results sooner.

How do I get access to my training?

Our Digital Marketing Apprenticeships are delivered through a combination of:

✔ Pre-recorded online modules you can work through at your own pace

✔ One-to-one support with your allocated coach/assessor online

✔ 6-weekly reviews with your assessor to track progress and set goals

You’ll receive tasks and assignments monthly, which you can complete during your 6 hours of off-the-job training at your workplace, with the support of your manager. Your TNB tutor/assessor will meet with you at regular 8-week online reviews to provide guidance, set targets, and track your progress.

Are there any online resources?

Yes! You’ll have access to a dedicated online portal where you can work through the course modules. These resources are available 24/7, giving you the flexibility to learn at your own pace and fit training into your schedule.

Does it cost me anything?

If you are employed or own an LTD company and are on payroll, you can access apprenticeship funding. However:

✔ Your employer, or you as the employer, must pay a 5% contribution of £550 + VAT, invoiced before training begins.

✔ If you are self-employed, you must cover the full course cost.

✔ To qualify for funding, you must be employed by a business and have a payroll reference.

✔ Owners/Directors who pay themselves a wage from the company and have a payroll reference can also be funded but will also need a second director to represent their company as an employer.

If this does not apply to you, we suggest you speak to your accountant about the pros and cons of being employed by your business, and if you decide to go ahead, you will need to register for payroll via the government website.

What other funded courses do you offer?

TNB Skills Training offers access to government funding for various courses, including; Hairdressing, Beauty, Nails, Mentoring, Assessing, Coaching and teaching qualifications.

Can I complete the course faster?

Yes! If you dedicate more than the average 6 hours per week, you can potentially complete the course quicker and see faster results in your business growth however there is a minimum duration of 8 months.

What happens if I miss a session?

Don’t worry! All sessions are recorded and available through our online portal, so you can catch up at a time that works for you. Your tutor will also be available to support you in staying on track.

Will I have a tutor or mentor?

Yes! You’ll be assigned a dedicated TNB tutor and assessor who will guide you throughout the course. They’ll meet with you during online reviews every 8 weeks to check your progress, set targets, and provide personalized support.

Is this course suitable for beginners?

Yes, this course is perfect for all levels! Whether you’re new to marketing or looking to refine your skills, the training is designed to help you succeed in growing your client base and sales.

Can I use what I learn in other industries and sectors?

While the course is tailored to the hair and beauty sector, the strategies and techniques taught are applicable to other industries, especially small businesses looking to grow their client base.

How is this course funded?

This course is part of the government-funded apprenticeship scheme, with your employer or company paying a small contribution (if applicable). We’ll guide you through the process to ensure you’re able to access the funding. The total cost of the course is £11000, and is fully funded for any 16-21 year old or if the candidate is aged 22+ to complete this apprenticeship, the government will fund 95%. The remaining 5%, which is £550 + VAT, This will be invoiced to your employer once you have enrolled on the course and must be paid before the learning can begin.

What certification will I receive from completion?

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a recognised qualification in digital marketing that demonstrates your expertise and skills to clients and employers. At the end of you course you will sit an End Point assessment with an Awarding Body it is typically a 8 - 14 month apprenticeship, and once training is complete, you will need to complete an End Point Assessment consisting of The EPA process consists of three assessment processes:

✔ A project and report

✔ A presentation to the End-Point Assessor

✔ A Professional Discussion (PD)

These three processes will be delivered sequentially.

We have only 30 places available for this course. Once they’re gone, they’re gone so we recommend enrolling as soon as possible!

Yes, the course is tailored to the hair & beauty sector.

Are there any entry requirements?

Individual employers may set any entry requirements which may include:

✔ Candidates may have achieved Maths & English skills at Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE Grade 4-9 or Grade C-A*) prior to completing their end-point assessment.

✔ Those who have not must achieve this prior to taking the end-point assessment.

English & Maths

✔ Apprentices without Level 2 or equivalent English & Maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment and all candidates will be required to sit an initial assessment as part of the programme.
